Appreciation of Enemy Threat

In 1978 the then OC, RCB, recommended training objectives that should be achieved before departure to Butterworth to enable the incoming Rifle Company to commence their security duties ASAP after arrival.

This left the following to be done in country:

1. search light and generator instruction
2. familiarisation with key points 
3. appreciation of the enemy threat and likely approaches
4. quick reaction exercises
